Moving All Around

It is difficult to catch Morgan with the camera these days (as you can probably guess by the decrease in the number of pictures lately). :) And when you do get her in the frame, half the time it is blurry. Plus, we seem to have a lot less time lately...could it be because we spend most of it chasing a toddler? She sure gets around. Why were we so anxious for her to start walking?

You probably notice there have also been a lot fewer blog posts recently. Sorry! It is hard to keep up with Morgan and the blog at the same time these days. So you may start seeing one big update 1x/month. I know, I know, she changes so much from month to month. It may be a big update, but I will do my best to get all the great Morgan stories and milestones included.

Happy Easter

We hope you had a great Easter.

We headed to Grandma and Grandpa Brown's house to celebrate. Morgan was a lot of fun this year (just a bit more into the holiday than last year, which wasn't unexpected considering she was only 2 months old...boy a lot changes in 1 year!). But we were surprised how quickly she understood the Easter egg hunt idea. Of course it helped that we stuffed her eggs with ther favorite snack, strawberry/banana Gerber puffs...basically candy for babies. :)

Puzzles

It is amazing how much Morgan is learning; just about each and every days seems to be a new developmental experience. We had bought a couple wooden puzzles for her a few weeks ago and she showed only a little interest and didn't seem to quite get the idea. Now today, for the first time, she was actually trying to match up the pictures! It was so neat!

Month 14 in Review

The big milestone this month was obviously Morgan taking her first steps and we have enjoyed seeing her get more and more comfortable with this new skill every day. Crawling still seems to be the preference, as she is still a little cautious with the whole walking thing, but we know she will be running around and away from us in no time.

One of Morgan's favorite things this month is sitting. It sounds a little funny, but she is so fascinated with sitting on different things...such as her green checked chair, a step stool, Mommy's rocking chair, the stairs....just about anything. She loves crawling in/on, sitting down (often with a book), and especially swinging her legs when she can.
