Grandpa B's Retirement

This past weekend we helped Grandpa Brown celebrate an amazing achievement, retiring after 30 years of serving in the Navy. The Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD held a special retirement ceremony and reception honoring Grandpa and about 40 other classmates.

Morgan was such an angel throughout the entire day. She loved all the activity and had a blast spending time with Aunt Stephanie, Uncle Matt, and Grandma and Grandpa B.

Grandpa may be retired but that doesn't necessarily mean the end of the Brown Navy legacy. Does Morgan have what it takes to be Academy potential?

After the festivities, we stayed in Annapolis and had a wonderful weekend with the family. With temperatures feeling like 110 degrees, we spent a lot of time trying to stay cool, especially Morgan.

But the heat didn't stop us from enjoying some of the city...the cute shops, quaint homes, gorgeous sailboats and delicious MD crab! We can't wait to get back!

Congratulations to Grandpa B on his retirement from the Navy. It must have been a wonderful occasion. Looks like Morgan likes men in uniform. Love, Tanta
